I celebrated Mass for your mother, you, and your loved ones as soon as I received word. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Through the years I have found helpful the prayer which I have adapted from that composed by Saint John Chrysostom at the time of the death of his mother:

"The one whom I knew and loved is no longer where she is. She is with me because she is with God. And God in his love for me is closer to me than I am to myself."

I was very saddened to learn of Aunt Freddy's death. I have many fond early memories of being in your family's wonderful company as a youth. Aunt Freddy was a truly gracious lady. You are both in our thoughts.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Freddy. She was always a pleasure to be around at family gatherings. God Bless.

Sheila and Randall, we are all so sorry to hear of Aunt Freddie's passing. She was such a loving person and I have many, great memories of visiting the farm. I never heard a cross word from her or Uncle Tommy. I know you will miss her, but she is with the rest of her family now.
