Dr. Fredric E. Altman

I was saddened and shocked when I moved back to this area in 2014 to hear that Dr. Altman had died.
I worked in Delray Hospital on the PCU floor 1988-1995. Dr Altman loved his patients and was very dedicated to patients in his care.
I knew exactly when and where his charts should be and admired his dedication to his profession.
He truly loved his family and would bring the little ones to the hospital on his weekend rounds. He will be missed.

Fred was a good and kind friend to me and a cherished business partner to my son Rob Carida. We are in the same office shared with Fred and we still think of him and his humor and miss him very much.

Dr Altman was a caring individual. I will never forget on 1/17/93 my mom had a heart attack and was rushed to Delray Medical. He saved her life. Thank You

It's been 8 months since your untimely death. It is still impossible to believe. There is no replacement for you, Fred; not as a doctor or a friend...I am sure many others continue to feel the same shock and sorrow that I feel. Rest in peace Fred. You will never be forgotten!!
