Not sure what to say?

Rabbi married us. But before doing so he wanted to meet us (we are an interfaith couple and weren´t members of his congregation) for pizza at a place on Bloomfield Ave. such a wonderful person

Rabbi Fred presided over my wedding on October 7, 1972, and bris for both my sons. He became a close and dear friend as did Cheryl. We attended an amazing Halloween party in his home in Brooklyn and enjoyed pizza at his New Jersey restaurant on Montclair. He helped me through some incredible times in my life. Im heartbroken to learn of his passing. Condolences to his family.

My husband and I are so saddened to hear of Rabbi Dworkin's passing. Rabbi Fred had married us back in 1996 and presided over my son's baby naming in 2002. I was actually looking him up to contact him about my son's Bar Mitzvah which will be in October of this year when I came upon his obituary. He was a wonderful kind hearted man who made anyone feel comfortable in his company. I always saw him like a big Teddy bear, always ready to comfort and support. He will be in our memories...

I first met Rabbi Fred Dworkin in 2000 at my sister's wedding, and then in late 2001 I was honored to have him preside over my wedding as well. He was an amazing man, always there with great humor and immense wisdom about what's important in life, especially through the trying times of 9/11 that year. To this day, my wife and I recount all of his many sayings and think about him often. A fond memory at my wedding, to me he said: "You gotta break the glass or the Jews won't get up." :) I...

I just learned of Rabbi, Doctor, Friend, Mentor, Fred Dworkin's passing. This world will miss such an incredible gift! I hope he knew what he meant to my family. He was the guiding force to the success of my marriage and family. I can't say enough about what he did for my husband and I. Our love and prayers are with his family always.

We just learned about Fred's passing. My sister gave his name to a friend who was looking for a reformed rabbi to officiate at her daughter's wedding. He was a wonderful man who both Bat Mitzved and married both our daughters. This is a great loss and we extend our sincerest condolences.

A note of sincere THANKS to an old friend... Fred, when we met, you took an interest in me and helped me chart my course. Your LARGER THAN LIFE persona and warm and friendly way made me happy to be called a friend and to call you one.
Of so many people I have met, you are the one I am least likely to EVER forget... Safe Journey my friend.

Rabbi Dworkin presided at my Bar Mitzvah at Ahavath Shalom in Brooklyn. My deep condolences, prayers and fond memories to Fred's family.
