He was my best friend and so funny

I was so sorry to hear about Fred's death...I had the pleasure of working with him many years ago with RTF students on a "Teen TV" show on cable. He inspired not only myself but many students along the way...one of the nicest guys I ever met...he will truly be missed.

Fred Weiss was a great educator who loved teaching, his students and his college. He will be greatly missed by those he touched.

Had it not been for the Fred Weiss I would have never been driven to succeed. He was a great influnce in the production world.... A world that just lost a true pioneer in Production. He was our teacher, Mentor, and to some like a Production Dad.

Mr. Weiss was one of my favorite professors of all time. He always gave 110% to his students and craft. He always pushed me to be the best I could be and I appreciated the fact he believed in me. I learned so much from him and not just about Television Production but about life. He will be missed and my thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.

Mr. Weiss was a great professor but most importantly an amazing person. Always encouraging one to reach out and live that dream. He is greatly missed.

An honest friend will be missed in Mr. Weiss. Always giving me the best advice and opinion. Thank you for the knowledge and the guidance Mr. Weiss. Comfort to the Weiss family in the trying moments ahead.
