Fredrick “Freddie” Neal Williams, Jr., age 70, passed away on July 17, 2024 surrounded by family at his home in Marion, VA.
Freddie was born on October 3, 1953 to the late Fred Williams, Sr., and Joy Williams. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Diane Williams; two sons, Steven “Stevie” Neal Williams and Wayne Blevins; and brother, Joey Williams.
Freddie dedicated over 30 years of his life as an electrician at the SWVA Mental Health Institute. His sense of humor was truly unmatched, always bringing laughter and joy to those around him. Freddie was more than just a remarkable husband, father, and friend; he was the heart and soul of his family and friends. A devout member of the Marion Pentecostal Holiness Church, Freddie's love and legacy will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew him.
Freddies favorite bible verse, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
Survivors include, his daughter, Angi Cornett and husband Bobby; daughter in law, Angie Blevins; grandchildren, Zak Poston and wife Beverly, Ryan Blevins and wife Sidnee, Branson Blevins and wife Arianna (Hope), Kodey Blevins, Dylan Blevins, Sawyer Blevins, Austin Blevins, and Ethan Blevins; sisters in law, Debbie Williams, Debbie Smith, Peggy Testerman and husband Jim; cousin, Jason Testerman and wife Sherry; daughter in law, Kimberly Williams and niece Sharron; special niece, C.C Johnsey and children, Caedmon, Mia, and Abigail; Pastor Donnie Mutter and wife Connie and church congregation; his very special friends and pallbearers, Shaun May, Chad Funk, Steve Tilson, Stan Frye, Steve Perry, and Jim May; very special freinds, Shaun and Marti May; special cousin, Judy Winebarger; special friend, Joyce Sheffield and family, Mia, Nick, and Dewayne; many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held at Bradley’s Funeral Home in Marion, VA on Sunday, July 21, at 2:00PM with Pastor Donald Mutter and Pastor Mike Sage officiating. Interment will follow at Round Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at the funeral home from 4:00PM- 6:30PM. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.bradleysfh.com. Bradley’s Funeral Home of Marion, VA is serving the family of Freddie Williams.

I've tried to think of words that can express how sorry I am that those final goodbyes are having to be said to such a kind and sweet man. This world is not better off without him. He always had a smile on his face and a laugh even on the hardest days would help you through the day.
