Fredrick "Bruce" Anderson

Bruce and I spent time together the summer after our freshman year at Augustana. We traveled through six Midwestern states with a theatre group that presented a play in a different city each night. You can only imagine the fun we had as college students in a station wagon and a truck - arriving in new locales each afternoon.

Bruce never missed a reunion for our college class of 1959 and we always caught up with each other's lives.

I was very fortunate to have Bruce as a friend for almost 50 years.
Of all of his outstanding qualities, his constant desire to put the good
of others above his own is the one I will remember best. I will greatly
miss his "dry" Swedish humor and the absence of his comforting friendship.
I know his creator has welcomed him into a well deserved, parallel universe
of unending happiness
