We went on many journeys from camping, to sitting and discussing things like; advantages and disadvantages and the causes of each. He was a simple man, but one of the wisest I have ever known. That's saying something, because I am 70 years old now and still look back at those days. Thank you, Fred.

I have some great memories of some good times with Fred. Ya never knew what the day would bring, but when it was over...it was a good time. Thinking of you old friend....

I had not seen Fred for quite some time. I spent a lot of time with him 30 years ago. One time we went crabbing in Garibaldi, where he had a trailer,and then partied out in Seaside. I couldn't get the party at Rock Creek because of my disability. I'll miss his stories. I also have COPD. God bless you Fred.
