I am Fred McConnell's sister and also knew Fred he was always cheerful and such a likeable person and a wonderful chef I remember when he had that shop on 79 many years ago. I have not know Fred long but he has enriched my life, especially when it comes to being a dialysis patient. Fred was always cheerful, outgoing, friendly, and interested in others. He was supportive to his fellow patients and is already greatly missed. I and many of us were blessed to have him in our life for a short time.
