Fred will be missed tremendously at Forsyth Technical Community College Small Business Center. He brought joy and delight each Tuesday when he entered the office. He was one of the first counselors that I met when I arrived 10 years ago and he welcomed me as if he had know me all my life. My prayers are with Mrs. Uphoff whom I never met in person but she is part of the Forsyth Tech SBC family. We all know Fred is now resting with our lord. God Bless the Uphoff family.

Men like Fred are far to rare. He has touched so many lives and certainly gave more than he took. I can't watch a playoff baseball game without thinking of Fred. If it were't for Fred's birth I would have missed the wonderful years with daughter Emily and grandchildren Carl and Susie. My thoughts at this time are with Susan and the wonderful family that has come to her side. May Fred now enjoy the well earned eternal peace with the Lord. Pat V
