Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Kemnitzer was my 4th grade teacher at Roosevelt School, and she was my favorite teacher of all. I have the best memories of her. She was tough, but a really excellent teacher and a wonderful person.

Though we have only known Freeda for a short time we certainly enjoyed the times we were able to visit with one another. There are so many wonderful entries that are a true testimony to to the incedible person Freeda is. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

My deepest condolences, Steve, on the loss of your mother. Although she was not my fourth grade teacher at Roosevelt Elementary, I am sure I would have been the better for it. Freeda was absolutely one of a kind. She truly knew how to connect with elementary students, as is evidenced by so many entries in this guest book by her various former students, such as Ken Kitchen, Vicki Carter, and others whom I remember so well from early to middle 1960's. Please remember, Steve, to take all the...

There are so many wonderful things to say about Mrs. Kemnitzer who was my gym/health teacher at Fremont in the late 50's. There just isn't enough room to list them all. We were very blessed to have her and Mr. Kemnitzer attend our 45th reuion, class of '60, KUHS. My deepest sympathy to her family, riends, and former students.
We were so blessed to have them both in our lives.

What a great lady!! I think of the days when we sat at our kids' ball games - or when our husbands were off doing some official school thing. She contributed so much to our community - and to all who knew her. She will be sorely missed. Marjorie Conroy

Dear Family,
What a beautiful lady and extraordinary teacher Freeda was. She was such a positive influence in my son's life and he has adored her all the years since. Freeda encouraged me while working with her. She guided me to things I never thought I could accomplish. Freeda, will forever be one of the most wonderful people I have ever had the privilege of knowing. May God be with you at this time of great loss.

Mrs. Kemnitzer was number 1 in my book of teachers. I will always remember her.

Mrs. Kemnitzer and Mr. Kemnitzer were wonderful people. They were neighbors in every sense of the word and I am sometimes astounded at my good fortune to grow up around such people. They don't make 'em like her anymore. Much sympathy to her "boys" and to all who miss her. I will remember her always.

Mrs. Kemnitzer was a true gem. As a 4th grader I woke up every morning eager to go to school. I feel very fortunate to have attended Roosevelt School in the 1960s. My teachers helped me develop a lifelong love of learning.
