HUNT, Freida A. - Of Flint and Mt. Morris, age 91, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Living Joy. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2010 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Rick Schmidt officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to Heartland Hospice. Visitation 5-8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Freida was born in Flint, Michigan on December 4, 1918, the daughter of Fredrick and Amelia Alker. She was a lifelong resident of the Flint area. She married Byron Hunt on June 26, 1937 and he preceded her in death on December 9, 2006. Surviving are three sons, Norman, Bruce and wife Pat, David and wife Karon; six grandchildren, Julie Carrell, Mark (Tina) Hunt, Staci (Stephen) Crane, Jeffery Hunt, Janet (Nicholas) McVannel and Philip Hunt; great-grandchildren, Joseph Hunt, Brian Hunt, Devyn Wilson, Danielle Hunt, Andrew Crane, Louie Carrell, Faith Hunt, Nicholas Crane and Jacob Hunt; one great-great-grandchild, Nicholas Hunt; niece and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Lillian and brother, Donald.
