This comes a bit late, but ... I worked all over the country for US Fish & Wildlife and always tried to get hold of a copy of the AJC soley for Mr. Bisher's columns. Condolences to the family and I imagine heaven is just a bit more pleasant these days.

To the entire Bisher family, I would desire that todays sports writers and announcers bring as much to the fans as your husband and dad. He made me a better person for his Thanksgiving Day column. We treasure his memory. I'm Thankful for Furman Bisher.
