Furman Allen Gresham Jr.

I have such wonderful memories of Allen from my childhood. He was born 2 weeks before me in 1947 and we had wonderful times together with Uncle Allen, Aunt Carolyn, Allen and Tim. I appreciate that Allen and Sandra came to see me in Columbia. I have been singing an old hymn to myself since I heard of his passing. "In the Sweet By and By" We shall meet on that beautiful shore! I love you Allen!

Mrs. Sandra, David, Greg and family-Christy and I are so sorry to hear the loss of Mr. Al. What a tremendous comfort it is to know that in the presence of Jesus, there are no health issues, pain or frustration...Only true peace. We love you guys.

My dad, Howard Stephens, hired Al to work with him in the data processing department of South Atlantic Life Insurance Company in Charleston, SC in the mid-1970´s. He always had the best smile and wonderful stories. Our thoughts are with you, Sandra, as we remember you both fondly.

Knowing Al was a delight! Every conversation with him was a learning experience which lifted me higher and gave me something to take away and remember forever. Thank you, Sandra, for choosing Al. He always made our family gatherings so much more interesting. We loved him. Ralph and Pat Johnson
