G. W. Bailey

G. W. Bailey G. W. Bailey, 70, died November 3, 2010 at his rural Wasilla, Alaska home.

G. W. was born April 12, 1940 in Charlottesville, Va. the son of the late Garfield Jackson and Elva Myrtle (Frazier) Bailey. G. W. and his family were the owners of Bailey's Backhoe.

Survivors include his wife Mae, of the family home, sons Jamie and his wife Michele, Wade and his wife Marjorie, and 3 granddaughters of Wasilla. Gene and his wife Liz, Glenn and his wife Mildred, Bobby and his wife Lisa, Donald and his wife Melody, daughters, Brenda and her husband Chuck May, Betty and herhusband Freddie Spradlin, Patricia and her husband Neil Moore, Cindy and her husband Brian Thompson, sisters Helen and her husband Harvey Sutphin, Virginia and her husband Francis Hodgson, Shirley and her husband Peter Stover, 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews and other family of Virginia.

A memorial service was held November 10, 2010 at the First Presbyterian Church of Wasilla.
