I want to say to all the Bertain's that my prayers are with you. Joe may been older than me, since Colette was in my class at Scotia school, but the Betts family was still involved with all the Bertain's. Rest in peace, Joe.

It is with a sad heart that I read about the passing of Joseph. Please let the families know that you all in our hearts and prayers. May God Bless you all in this time of sorrow. From all of the McKay families.

It was through Joe that I gained a scholarship to attend Saint Mary's College in 1951: a life changing
experience. An unforgettable man who gave so much to so many; you needed only to speak with him for several minutes to come away a better person.

Tom, Len, Bill, Eleanor, Rosemary, and Colette. I want to express our heartfelt sympathy to the Bertain family at this time.
