Not sure what to say?

My condolences to the Flieg family. My first job as a high school teen was working in concessions at the Zoo. I met several of the keepers at the zoo, Mike being one of them. He was a very friendly, funny, and down to earth gentleman, always having a kind word for us 'youngsters' with most of us experiencing our first ever employment. I'm sure he would have never remembered me, but he was one of those people that came into a person's life and made it better. I worked at the zoo from '66 to...

Knowing Mike for 50 years was an honor. He introduced me to birding, and I fondly recall the many birding trips, and the canoe trips with he and Jackie. He left a wonderful legacy and will be sorely missed. My sympathy to Jackie and his children, their spouses, and his grandchildren.
Sincerely,

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

My deepest sympathy to all of you. I loved Mike like a brother. I can remember when Suzie and I would babysit the kids. I also will never forget all the fun we had when he coached our softball team. He will be greatly missed.
