Not sure what to say?

Julia, Tess, and "Stewie"- Just found out a couple of weeks ago about Stewart's passing, and I have been struggling to find some words to say, when, truthfully, I have been at a loss for words ever since the day all those years ago, when I got the call from Stewart, telling me about just how sick he was. It was such a shock, and such a personal struggle for all of you, and all I could do was watch it all unfold, and witness the strength both you and Stewart showed with every difficult step,...

Dear Martha, Kit and Families, I am so sorry to hear of Stew's passing. My sincere condolences to all of you. Although I have not seen him in years, I always remember him to be such a beautiful person inside and out. With deepest sympathy, Debby Hanson

Mary and I send our condolences to all of Stewart´s family. We are remembering "Stewie" when he was preschool age and his our families were next door neighbors in Carmen Park. Mary (Keiser) used to babysit him when he was a toddler. He was always happy and smiling. Keeping you in our thoughts from Oregon. Bob and Mary Remensnyder

I just wanted to pass along our condolences. Chris and Stephanie --------- Stewart was the rare kind of musician who could write and sing of his personal struggles yet always leave you with a feeling of hope. His family´s support had a lot to do with that hope for certain. These were incredibly well crafted songs that were at a level few song writers achieve. Being able to share the stage with Stew (as his keyboardist)for 15 plus years was an honor and a joy. Each and every gig was a new...

We are so very sorry to hear of Stew´s passing. He will be remembered for his bright smile , his original music and how he made this world a better place. With deepest sympathy David and Lori Kennelly

Stewart, Our paths crossed many years ago at one of your appearances at The Temple Theater in your hometown of Saginaw. When you took the stage and began your first song you brought tears to my eyes because you had the exact presence and stance at the microphone as my Father. He was quite the performer in his day as well and was also your Godfather at your birth. Now I´ll connect our common "family"dot for you. Years ago the Francke family and the Colvin-Keating family spent many many summers...

My condolences to the family. My young daughter grew up listening to Stewart in the car. I played bass w/ Stewart off and on for a few years and traveled with him in New York and New Jersey and respected his talents and great musical knowledge and his unique way of analyzing with insight the music he loved to his core. I´m reminded of a piece he wrote about "The Band", as it was simply brilliant. His own music was poetically deep and musically soulful. I will miss and always remember our time...

May he RIP..I knew him thru his sister Martha..he was younger than Martha..had a lot of fun sharing humor as a younger brother to Martha
