G. Kirk Raab

My great admiration and high, sincere friendship for Kirk, with whom I had the great opportunity of enjoying many reunions in Mexico City and NYC., makes me remember him every year on his anniversary. (I make a note in my agenda...). I was also born in 1935, son I just turned 88...That means that in not too long, I will join Kirk in his joyful Eternal Spiritual Life ! Kirk was truly an outstanding person. He was a fine gentleman, full of life, salt of the earth, keenly intelligent, goodhearted, kind and likeable. He made you glad to know him. How much fun we had making that little porthole for him! I am so saddened to learn of his passing.

Querido y siempre muy bien recordado amigo Kirk: We were born the same year and I consider you my great role model, in business and joie de vivre! While you lived in Mexico, we became close friends and even traveled together. Remember our unforgettable trip to NYC...? Take care and BLESS all of us!

Mexico City, where I have lived for the last 57 years and where you visited me and Monica, your memory came into my mind, and suddenly I had an urge to find out if you had been finally born into ETERNAL SPIRITUAL LIFE...And I just found your obituary of January 21, 2021, almost exactly 3 months ago...We both were born in 1935, me on December 16.
Although I sincerely had not thought of you...

I just found out Kirk passed away. Makes me so sad. We had so much fun at the gym together. Kirk was a wonderful fun and funny person. I was blessed to have him as a personal fitness training client and friend. I introduced Kirk and Maryann. My husband Frank and I extend our heartfelt condolences to Maryann and his entire family. Kirk was a wonderful man, kind, generous, engaging and engaged in life. The world has lost a truly worthwhile human being! Maryann, I’m so sorry that you lost your prince! His deep love for you was obvious for all to see. My heart breaks for you. And to all of Kirk’s children, I’m so sorry you lost your dad, a man who was larger than life! I see his legacy in who you are: warm and caring people, intelligent and moving forward to make your mark in life, just like he did. May you all know...

I had the privilege of sharing the Genentech roller-coaster ride with Kirk as his Executive Assistant from 1984-1994. It was a wonderful learning experience. I also had the privilege of knowing his children and sharing in their many accomplishments. He will definitely be missed!
