I was in Treatment and he was the main physician-addictionologist many years ago. I worked in the same institution that he did later. Dr Talbott was a fine, fine man.

So sorry to hear. I only met him once in the '60s, but what a wonderful person. I knew his daughter, Wendy.

My condolences to the family of this remarkable man. I was privileged to work with Doc in the late 1980's as he was developing the Disabled Doctors program at Metropolitan Hospital and Ridgeview Institute. His humanity and compassion for his patients, as well as his approach to addictions treatment made an impact on me that continued to influence my own career in addictions care. I am saddened that he is no longer in the world, but reassured that his legacy will endure.
