Not sure what to say?

I never knew Ron but I succeeded him as QB at RHS. Obviously, Ron was a fantastic person and I was shocked to learn of his passing when I was on a committee for our classes 50th. But the reason I write now is because the RHS alumni group honors outstanding alumni and I plan on nominating Ron Darlington. Please reach out if you have further info - but the obituaries have ample info. Respectfully- Tom Hartman (RHS Class of `67)

Knew Ron as a young man in Andorra, it was obvious that he would go on to lead a meaningful life. Prayers to his family

I only found out about Ron's passing today. We attended Roxborough High School together and were teammates on the football and baseball teams. He was our quarterback and a genuine leader. He was critical to our championship team in 1963 and it was an honor to be associated with him. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

My sincerest condolences to the Darlington family. I went to high school with Ron and remember him fondly. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Ron will be remember for his kind and gentleman ways. God bless all of you

Diane,
My sincerest condolences and sympathies on Ron's passing.I can see both of you in my mind's eye in our college days as if it were yesterday. Sadly, it's 45 years ago this week that we graduated. But in the interim Ron certainly had a highly distinguished career of which your whole family can be so proud.
Best,

Chuck Freyer
