I never saw a day go by without a smile on the face of this really good man. Pete was my friend, as trustworthy a person I have ever known, and he was just a genuinely good guy. We kept in touch after my time working with him for the City of Ceres and his upbeat perspective on life was contagious. He was a professional chief of police through and through, and I will miss his happiness and good nature.
