The Wright family grew up in our ward before their move to Granite. Lowell and Layne were my age. My father served in the bishopric with Gordon. We had some contact several years ago and I met you, Elaine, at that time. My first husband was a friend of the family and we both knew them. The family lived close to both our families. I know what it is to lose a husband. Mine died several years ago. You will be blessed in ways you won't realize until later. But be consoled that Lowell's...

We were so sadden to hear about the passing of Lowell. We wished we would have known sooner, so that we could have been there to give you some support today.
Kent and I remember Lowell outside working in his yard. We would watch him and when he would fertilize we would do the same for his yard was his showcase, absolutely beautiful. May the Lord be so near at this difficult time.

I'm so thankful for the opportunity I had to see you again last summer and I'm also thankful for the wonderful, loving mission president I had.
