Gabriel "Gabe" DiBruno

Gabriel Dean DiBruno, age 16, of Shelby, NC passed away on May 19, 2022. He was the son of Dominic and Anastasia Taormina.

Gabe leaves behind his sister and brothers, Kayla DiBruno, Ethan DiBruno, Evan DiBruno, Dominic Taormina and Zackary Taormina.  He was a sophomore of Shelby High School, where he had many friends and was involved in the welding program. In his free time, Gabe enjoyed fishing, playing video games, skateboarding and anything having to do with cars. His favorite car was a Toyota Supra. He had many friends in life and was loved by all who knew him.

Funeral services for Gabe will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 6 PM at Elizabeth Baptist Church of Shelby, NC with Dr. Rit Varriale officiating. Family will receive friends following the service in the sanctuary.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The One More One Less Project: 219 Windsor Drive, Shelby, NC, 28150.
