Gabe Heller was a man of integrity, humor, grit, compassion, determination. So many wonderful qualities! Had he been in the Boy Scouts, they would have run out of merit badges for his sash. It was uplifting to have known him; dispiriting because it didn't last anywhere near long enough.

I have only known Gabe Heller the past 4 years, since I moved into Eastpointe. He has gotten me involved with our community by asking me to join the Eastpointe Blood Drive and other projects here.
