Not sure what to say?

The world was a better place when he was in it.

GOD WAS BLESSED WITH AN ANGEL WHEN HE CALLED U TO BE BY HIS SAIDE. GOD BLESS, LOVE YA, AND YOU WERE OUR NEVER ENDING, NEVER QUIVERING LIGHT

Dear Mr. Pettinato:
Everyone in history class listened when you spoke. I will miss you.
God Bless

I knew you as Mr. Pett when I was your History student at Snyder in 1962. It was difficult calling you Dr. Pett when I last saw you at DHS in 2000. I remember a story you told us in class when your B-17, after a bombing run over Germany, was flying low over a field in France and the farmers called out to you all: "Vive La Americain!" I often thought that must have been a special moment for you and your crew. I remember the time I visited you at Snyder in 1967. It was evident to me at that...

Mr. Pett,
You have contributed a great deal to our society with your excellent teaching skills, positive motivation and guidance in building character in thousands of young students. You have established a bench mark in the educational field that few if any will achieve. I still remember the “No Gum” sign in your history class, my brief time in your homeroom, the hunter firearms classes, but my fondest memories are all your detention classes I had to attend, and there were many. You...

Mr. Pett, You were the best. You were caring and warm to everyone. How could we not like your class. I remember once I stayed out of school to take care of my niece. I was taking her to my aunt's house. Pushing the carriage on Claremont Ave. who should drive by but you, you smiled waved and never brought it up to me. I will never forget that, it was a true mark of your kindness and understanding.

Doc: You were true to yourself and to everyone around you. I can't ever remember you bad-mouthing anyone or gossiping about anything. You kept to yourself and did your job. You were a gentle man, yet ferocious when you had to be. I'll miss your leg kicks. If your not in heaven, there isn't one.

Dear Mr. Pettinato: I attended your History Class in Snyder. I took History because it was necessary , not
because I wanted. You changed my mind.
You made it interesting and actually
enjoyable. Whenever I am talking about
our teen years and school, invariably
your name comes up. God Bless You!

Dr. Pettinato: You were a true gentleman and will be missed, but not forgotten. It won't be the same, to not see you at work anymore. My condolences & deepest sympathy go out to the entire family. God Bless.
