Gabrielle Alexis Lee

Gabrielle Alexis Lee, 11, of Fairfield St., New Haven, passed away on June 5, 2008. Born on February 22, 1997 in New Haven, she is a daughter of Jeffrey and Martha Lee Sr. of New Haven. Gabrielle is survived by her siblings, Jeffrey Jr., Juliet, and Allison Lee. Maternal grandparents, Carlos and Carmen Gomez and paternal grandparents, Walter and Catherine Lee Sr., aunts and uncles, Sandra Gomez, Carlos J. Gomez and wife Jessica, Ivan Gomez and wife Nicole, and Leslie Garcia and husband Manuel all of New Haven, Bruce Trammell and wife Janine of Branford, Karen Lee, Walter Lee Jr., and Virginia Spell and husband Stacey all of New Haven, Angela Lee of Hamden, Martina Turenne and husband Yvon of Nanuet, NY, Rachel Walton and husband Douglass of Patterson, NY, Alex Lee and wife Celina of White Plains, NY, Kelly Atkins and husband Marc of Yonkers, NY, and Deborah Trammell of Naugatuck, and a host of cousins. Gabrielle was an outgoing fifth grader at Elm City College Prep and a member of East Rock Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses both in New Haven. A good student, she had achieved Reach Scholar six months in a row. She was an active child who enjoyed running and dancing. She participated in several talent contests using her voice to please the crowd. She was looking forward to dancing in an upcoming talent show. Gabrielle was a girl's girl. Never passing up an opportunity to go shopping and enjoying every moment of time spent as a flower girl in four different weddings. Family and friends will forever miss her great personality and her beautiful smile will never be forgotten. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 14th at 10 a.m. at Edgewood Park Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, 885 Wintergreen Ave., Hamden. Friends may visit with the family on Friday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden.
