I am sorry to here of Gaels passing. My husband and I were neighbors of hers for the years we lived in Macon. She was so good to us and we loved her. We hate we just found out.

I am so, so sorry to hear of Gael's passing. I had seen her in January for dinner and then I changed phone/internet/TV provider and was without a working phone for nearly 2 months. I had called her several times and when I didn't get a return call, didn't think too much about it because I thought she had gone out of town. I am so sorry to hear of Gale's passing. She and my mother, Ruth, were the best of friends and whenever I was in Macon to visit her, she would insist on stopping by to see Gale. My mother was heart broken to have to leave Gale and Macon behind when she moved to Chicago in 2012. I was not aware that Gale had passed until I tried to reach out to her this week to tell her that my mother passed away on March 20th. My condolences to the family.

I would like to offer my condolences to the family that I am fond of. So sorry I missed the funeral and seeing the family. I did not find out about it until after the fact or I would surely have been there. I have known her for many years, attended school together, played basketball together, worked in the same building for many years. Gael will be missed by her friends at the Macon Post Office. She was outspoken, funny, spoke her mind, and was quite a character.....with a heart of gold and a real warmth for her job and for her co-workers. She would stop to help or just lend an ear if you wanted to talk about anything. Prayers to her family .

Gael was a part of our hearts and families and through her, we were a part of her family. She was always available to listen or give advice. Gael was a stubborn and fearless lady with a golden heart. The last words she spoke to me were, "I love you," and that is the way I will forever remember Gael. My prayers are with her family whom she loved dearly.
