I raced with Gale in the late 90's in the Super Stock division a Berlin Raceway. His racing savey was second to none. He signed the deck lid on my super stock when he won the sportsman championship. Along with Randy Sweet and Matt Keltner the other two champions. I had every Super Stock driver sign my deck lid with all 3 champions on top. It's hanging in my bar room. I look at it all the time. It was a pleasure to have known him.
