Not sure what to say?

I enjoyed having Mr. Denison as an English Teacher at Central H.S. in York PA (1968). He was also a great director and drama instructor, and I participated in many of the plays he directed. Thank you, Mr. Denison, for your inspiration and encouragement. Patti (Idema) Hofstra - Jenison, Michigan

I have fond memories of Mr. Denison...he introduced me to a broader world, and I know that what I learned in his classroom led me to search out some great adventures in life. I still carry much of him with me. As my sister has already written, we sent him a postcard from Europe to let him know that a couple of his students from long ago had actually listened to what he taught us. Farewell, Mr. Denison, and thank you.

I knew about Mr. Denison before I got to high school because my older siblings talked about what a wonderful and inspiring teacher he was. About that they were right! I'm sure Mr. Denison contributed to my love of art and humanities, my study of Speech Communications, and my work in the theatre. Years after graduation from Central HS Mr. Denison attended a worship service at the church where I served as pastor; he was there as a member of his church's Call Committee to hear someone preach....

Gail was a colleague of mine in the Humanities Department at York College for many years. We enjoyed sharing together in the adjunct faculty office. He obviously enjoyed his interaction with students and was eager to see them excel. Gail was always a positive thinker who affirmed those around him. I cherish memories of the times he welcomed York
College staff to his home, usually in January. He was a gracious and appreciative host. I will miss him.

Mr Denison was one of my favorite teachers. I learned how to see art, not just look at it, from him. Though I didn't like keeping the journals he forced me to keep in high school, they are now among my most treasured memories.
He was a great friend to my mother and I will be forever grateful for his kindness.

Gail was a very kind and caring man. He was a devoted brother and uncle. We extend our deepest sympathy to his family for this loss.

Our Sympathy to Gail’s Family:

Mr. Denison started his teaching career at Central when I was a student. Years later, 1988, I joined the staff at CYHS and renewed my friendship with Gail.
My children loved his Class and cherish the books he gave them when they graduated.
He was a kind, funny, giving person. He was dedicated to his profession and inspired many students because he believed deeply in
education.
His presence will be missed. He is now protected in the...

I enjoyed talking to Gail about different subjects whenever I had to opportunity to meet up with him on the street. He would always ask how my mother was doing. I wiill miss his friendship and insights.

Dear Friends and Family members,
I worked with Gail at Central High School and what a joy it was to know him. What an outstanding man he was. He had such rapport with his fellow faculty and students.
What a tragic loss for all of you.
I will miss his nice smile.
