Not sure what to say?

Andrew and Daniel, I'm sorry for your loss. Though I never met your dad, he must have been a great man.

Father Ed was an important man in my life almost 50 years ago. In 1968 I was exploring alternative ways of avoiding the draft. At the time the most honest way for me was to become a conscientious objector. Father Ed was active in the antiwar movement and one of three clergy [the other two were a Methodist and a Unitarian] that guided me. Today I live close to the very house he lived in back then. Father Ed was one of the priests I got to know at Camp Tuttle. We would take long walks while he liatened to my queationings on the existence of god. Then he would help me find acceptance for these beliefs. We also were ofter involved in the anti war movement through the Camper Chriatian Center. His warm, caring attitute for all beings and all walks of life helped me through some dark times. I will always have a special place for him in my memories
