GAIL KRIEGER

I still drive regularly past my dear friend Gail's house in Paoli and think of how she had some great quips that would get our gang all laughing. When one of us had a dinner party and toted out the china, silver and crystal, we were playing "grown up/dress up". And when we were driving back home together from the ballet or other event downtown, if an old favorite song came on the radio, like "Tainted Love", we'd crank up the volume and sing our heads off, giggling like kids in our 20s. ...

I believe Gail is the same person who, when her family lived in Arlington Heights, IL, accompanied me when I moved to California, in 1968. I drove the whole way, because at the time, Gail didn’t drive.
I believe Gail flew back home after we arrived in Palm Springs, and if I remember correctly, she had a very good job with a well-known advertising agency. (I’d know the name if I heard it.)
After that, we lost touch. I remember her family and I believe her brother,Billy, was a friend...

I want to express my condolences to Gail's family. Gail's mother is my dear neighbor.
