Read MoreMr. Rector was my first boss at the University Musical Society in the late 1980s. He played a significant role in my career which took me to The Kennedy Center and Carnegie. He had faith in me and was responsible for launching my career. I am grateful to have known him.

Gail Rector was responsible for the appearances of many of my most treasured musical heros. Just as some youngsters have sports heros, mine were the great singers of the 1950's and 1950's. I am grateful for Mr. Rector's contribution to the world of music and the arts.
