Showers (Snyder), Gail of Edina, MN died Wed., Nov. 30, 2005 in Naples, FL from complications of long standing hypertension and Parkinson's disease. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Bud Snyder; and grandson, Kellen Kennett. Gail is survived by her husband of 51 years, Dale; her four children; daughter, Dr. Sidney Showers of Edina, Tom Showers (Junell) of Brookfield, WI, Kathy Kennett (Stan) of Atlanta, GA and John Showers of Minneapolis, MN; grandchildren, Emily and Thomas Showers, Harper and Sawyer Kennett. Gail was very active in Bible Study Fellowship for many years, an avid tennis player and golfer in her younger years, and a life long collector of American Primitive antiques. Gail was extremely gifted in her ability to work with colors and room arrangements and was thankful to be able to work with many of her close friends. Her strongest wish was to see her grandchildren grow and prosper through Christ. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. A memorial service will take place later in Minneapolis which will be announced later. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research (www.Michael J. Fox.org) Our heartfelt thanks to Rose and the Cove at the Marabella. Fuller Funeral Home Naples, FL 239-592-1611

My condolences to Gail's husband and family. I belonged to an "antique club" (a small informal group in Edina) and reaped so much from Gail. She was an inspiration to all of us. I cherish a visit to her Door Cty home where some of us gathered one summer many years ago. Unfortunately I never connected with Gail here in Naples FL - my loss for sure.
Everytime I see antique pine furniture I will surely remember Gail.
