Gair Roosevelt Allie Sr.

Gair and Rita were such wonderful parents. Growing up, they opened their home and hearts to me and my family. I remember being in awe of Gair's Pro Pirates picture hanging in the Living Room. That inspired me to learn the game of baseball while playing with Dianne for the BS Peacocks in CYO summer baseball.

Fantastic guy and one of the greatest persons Marilyn and I had the greatest pleasure of knowing and calling "friend"! You're missed tremendously FRIEND!!

My sincere condolences to Rita and family. Have great memories of Gair at Raffles. Always a true gentleman.

It makes me so sad to hear of Gair's passing he was such a great man. I have so many great memories of our time working together and of our many visits to Raffles. My condolences to all of his family.

Gair and I met eight years ago at the old Raffles, and we talked sports all evening long. He played for the Pirates when I was in elementary school in the Pittsburgh area.

Over the years, we talked about his life in Pittsburgh, and of the many old friends he had from those memorable Pittsburgh teams.

Gair Allie made a difference in this life, and his energy and presence touched many, many people. He will be missed.

Gair was a wonderful human being. He now resides at the right hand of the Lord. He will always be in my memory and my heart.

Gair was a class act through and through. I very much enjoyed his warm smile at every greeting. My deepest sympathy to Rita, Gair Jr., Steve, Diane and the rest of the family. Gair will truly be missed by all.
