GALE MARIE DILDAY
Taken by the Lord on Thursday, November 4, 2010, surrounded by her family, Gale had been courageous, calm and steadfast in her battle with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Her desire was to endure for all of us.
Gale Marie enjoyed travelling throughout the world with friends and family. She was extremely adventurous and daring. She loved riding her seadoo and camping on the Colorado River. But, especially, swimming in the waterfalls and walking the beaches of Maui, Hawaii.
Survived by husband, Dan, her devoted son, Jason Vachal, stepsons Tim and Shaun Dilday, daughter Shelly, mother Mrs. Norma Swaniger, and stepmother Mrs. Faye Boyce, grandchildren Laicee, Joshua, Kiley, and Landon, three brothers, three sisters, many nieces and nephews, loving family and friends.
Visitation Tuesday, November 9, 5-8 P.M., Luyben Dilday Chapel, 5161 Arbor Rd., Long Beach, CA 90808.
Funeral services Wednesday, November 10, 10 A.M., At Lakewood First United Methodist Church, 4300 Bellflower Blvd., Lakewood CA. Interment at Westminster Memorial Park, 14801 Beach Blvd., Westminster, CA 92683.
