Not sure what to say?

I fully expected to attend the service for Gale but got sidetracked with a vertigo attack. Gale and I got to know each other about 20 years ago through a monthly breakfast that several EHS grads from the 1950's attended. I really enjoyed Gale. He and I seemed to have many of the same interests. He was a great guy and certainly will be missed. My deepest sympathy goes out to the family

Dr. Flake was one of the best. He was gentle and kind. I only wish there were more like him around. My deepest condolences to his family.

Dear Dee and family, I was so sorry to hear of Gale's passing. He was our dentist until he retired. I have such fond memories of you both. Our times in the Eastmont Guild of St. M M. was the best. Know that we still remember the good times we had and still think of you. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. Love, Barbara

Dee and family, 27+ years ago when Shawn and were first dating and then married I remember what a beautiful home you had. One that was filled with love and kindness. One could tell how much he loved all of you and how proud he was of his family. We are so very sorry for your loss but heaven has gained another genuine caring angel. Our sincere condolences, Shawn and

Dee and Family Please know that I am thinking of you and praying for your peace and comfort. Gale was our caring family dentist and good friend. He had a great sense of humor and such a joy to be with. He will truly be missed.

I was looking through today's obituaries & come across Mr Gale Flake. I immediately remembered the face, he my dentist when I was younger (I am 50 now) he was also my mothers dentist capacity 70 years ago. I remember how hard he my mom and I would laugh as soon as he would give her that laughing gas she was a hoot, him and his staff would just sit there laughing at her because she was so silly. I'm glad you made it to 90 years and had a wonderful life I always wondered what happened to him...

My first real job was working as a dental assistant for Dr. Flake, where he patiently gave me the on-the-job training at a time when I desperately needed a job. I will always remember his kindness and humor. Rest in peace, Dr. Flake.

Dr. Flake was our family dentist when I was a child he was so kind. I was never afraid to go to the dentist. My condolences.

Michelle and I both worked for Dr as hygienists for a number of years in the 70´s. He was fun, understanding, a jokester in many ways, a loving family man and a friend on whom you could depend. Even 20yrs after leaving his employment, he called us both in different cities to keep connected. Unfortunately, we both live out of state now so won´t be able to attend the service. Our condolences to all the family.
