Not sure what to say?

To the Horton Family: I was so sorry to learn of your loved one's passing. I used to enjoy visiting with him when Rosedale Congregational Church fellowshipped with my church, St. Paul AME Zion Church. He will surely be missed.

Dear Horton family,Dave and I were so sad to hear of Gale's passing. He was so loved by our family and such a wonderful buddy of my dad Alvin Northcutt. I know of his deep love to Peggy and how he must have missed her and will now be with her again. I had such a wonderful heartfelt talk and cry with him when I was in KC last,I truly loved him as a second dad, even though I have been gone for a while. My thoughts and prayers to you all. Much love Dave and Julie Northcutt/Gunther

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Gale was a long time friend and neighbor, we will miss him. Northcutt Family

To the Horton Family...My deepest condolences to each member of the Horton family. I was lucky to know Gale and Peggy through my sister, Carolyn Danzig and her two chldren Tammara and Bryan, whom the Horton's cared for many, many years ago. Gale and Peggy were in a league of their own and will be missed by many! May God Bless

Gale was a wonderful funny man. He was like a grandfather to my
children. Peggy and Gale baby-sit my two children from the time
they were 3 & 7 until they became teenagers. They raised my children and did a wonderful job. Both of my children dearly loved them.Gale loved to play golf an so did I and we did a lot of talking about golf and golfed together at Tomahawk Golf Course. We made bets and would laugh through the whole 18 wholes. They were wonderful parents and grandparents...

In my life I have met people who made a quiet impression on me and touched my heart. Gale and Peggy Horton are two lovely examples who did that.
The welcoming kindness they so naturally extended to me and my friends when we would invade their home to visit with Gary stayed with me always. It made me a better parent as I always wanted my children’s friends to feel as welcome in my home as Gale and Peggy had made me.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences.
Fondly,
Linda...
