Gale will be greatly missed with me as we attended 5th grade Chestnut Street School the reunited again at NHHS. We graduated together in 1973 and I have nothing but fond friendship of her in my memory. She was a true "sweetheart". Shannon(Hank)Harmon

So sorry to hear this news. I was able to reconnect with Gale thru a couple of letters some years ago and so glad I did. Blessings to the family and friends for your loss.

I met Gale in 1995 when she and Craig came to a cat show in Winston-Salem and bought a kitten from me, Mr. Little Bit. She and Craig became not just kitten "buyers" but good friends. I loved getting her calls about how the furkid was doing; the kids and grand-kids were doing and what Craig was up to. She will be greatly missed by all and will remain in our hearts forever. My heartfelt sympathy goes to all the family.

Dear Craig & Family,
Even though there have been many miles between us, I knew from afar that Gale was a very special person, she left her mark fore ever in my heart!
Gales warm and caring ways made her that loving Wife, Mom & Grandma. My deepest sympathy, Gus Straub

I was told just 2 days ago of Gayle's passing! I have thought of her often, to show how much of an impression she made on people, I knew Gayle in Junior/High School, we shared classes, cheer leading, and many laughs together. Our birthdays were 1 day apart from one another, and though I have not seen Gayle nor talked to her in over 40 years, it just goes to show that even as a teenager, she earned the respect of all those around her. I for one will miss her and knowing she is no longer on...
