Not sure what to say?

One of the teachers and coaches that I look up to and looked to for guidance. John Thomas EHs '80.

The name "Schwilk" (along with Wandishin and Schuster) in my opinion, represented the best coaching team in Mercer County basketball history. Mr. Schwilk was really there for me after I suffered a severe ankle sprain during a game. Weeks later, when I was able to return to practice, Mr. Schwilk expertly wrapped my ankle for that practice and for each and every practice and game for the next two years. Mr. Schwilk -- kindness, caring, teaching and coaching. My condolences to his family and...

Mr Schwilk you were an inspiration in my life and I enjoyed your classes as well as playing golf for you at Ewing High. Rest In Peace my friend you have touched many lives.

So sorry to hear of Mr. Schwilk´s passing. He was an excellent neighbor and a wonderful father to his children. Having grown up in the neighborhood with the Schwilk family, my brothers and I always were welcomed into whatever was going on with open arms and treated warmly and kindly by the entire family. Later in school Mr. Schwilk was my chemistry teacher and he made it interesting and funny to learn. Condolences and love are being sent to the entire Schwilk family from afar in PA, and I...

So sorry for your loss. I am compelled to share some memories. I am 72 years old. I was sitting in mr. Schwilks classroom when the news of Kennedy´s assassination arrived. He told us we would be going home early and our parents would tell us why but that is not why I remember him. He was a good teacher and somehow he could hold your attention in the classroom. I sit here now reminiscing with my wife from that 7th grade science class with him at Fischer. Peace.

He was one of my favorite teachers. Thank you for your guidance so many years ago. Rest peaceful.

Our sincere condolences to the Schwilk family. We both enjoyed being members of the Fisher science department with Sandy, teaching directly across the hall from him for many years. Sandy will be remembered as a fun-loving guy, quick to share a laugh and a smile. We fondly recall teaching his wonderful children early in our careers.

Condolences to the Schwilk family. Coach was my drivers ed teacher summer of 72. I already had my license since Feb. Coach had me drive to Rt. 1 NE Philly to look for a tall mans shop. Great memories.
