Not sure what to say?

The Slaughter family were our across the street neighbors when we were all stationed at Ellsworth AFB in South Dakota. Mr. Slaughter Joe was a calm, loving and personable man who always had a kind word to say and a smile on his face. Everyone will miss your presence but we all know you will greet us when it is our time with a joke, a hug and a bulletin. Sending all my love and prayers to your family during this difficult time.

Joe was always a bright light in a room. A lovely man of God. Our prayers are for peace and comfort for his family.
Love, Shirley Pernett-Kennedy

Always loved your hugs, Joe, your positive attitude, your sense of humor, and warm and loving nature. We'll miss your presence on this earth, but know you will always be with us.

Our first church of full time ministry. Joe was a well respected leader and friend.

I have know Joe for 40 years. The most generous giving & caring man. He looked out for little children, old people and others the world had passed by or given up on. He loved the Lord with all his heart and shared his life with everyone he met. He took an interest in all the people he worked with in the Air Force, and at the Mines and Driving the buses. He will be missed deeply.

I worked with him at Grayline Tours- a very nice man. My prayers are with his family.

All my memories growing up at 22nd Street Baptist have Him and Maydell in them, wonderful people! Prayers to the family as you go through this difficult time.

An honor to have worked with Joe having him as a bus driver to Duval Mine transporting miners and also his great personality as a Gray Line/Citizen Bus Driver. A real good man with high standards and morals, he left his mark and is now being rewarded.
