Not sure what to say?

Dear Dana, Denise, Dorothy and Bunny,
We were so very sorry to hear of Galen's death. As most of you know I worked with Galen for about 16 years as Counselor and Coordinator of PPS. I always appreciated Galen's professional approach and often sought his advice. Although many years have passed I also will always remember his dry sense of humor!
We are out of the country at the present time, so will use this method of conveying our sincere condolences.

Dear Family of Galen:
John was on Marine Corps active duty and stationed at Quantico Marine Base from 1975 to 1982. Our children: Michael, Brian & Bridget attended John H. Russell and Ashurst elementary schools during that time. During those seven years we saw a lot of Mr. Bowman. He was always cordial and very visible at school events. I(Sharon) spent lots of time volunteering in the classrooms and eventually did substitue teaching there. Mr. Bowman was a very supportive ...

Dana, Denise, Dorothy, Bunny and family:

I worked with Galen the entire 22 years that he was employed by the Quantico Dependents School System. During this time I had many opportunities to observe first hand a truly dedicated educator of the highest standards. Galen was always a supportive colleague and a true professional but above all he was a valued and trusted friend.
Galen leaves behind a loving family and many friends who celebrate his life and share many fond memories....

To the Family
We are very sorry to hear about your lost. Our condolences to the family for your lost. It is our hope that the pain of death will be lessened when the family knows that others care. The family will be in our prayers. We continue to pray for God’s Kingdom to come.

Frank B.

Denise,

It's been too long since we've been in touch. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Galen Bowman was principal of Russell Elementary School when I was first hired in 1976. He was a very supportive administrator. His organizational skills were wonderful. As a new teacher I knew where to find information I needed. I am so glad that I had the priviledge to work for him. He touched my life and was a great help to a brand new teacher. I am still at Russell School having taught there now for over 30 years. My thoughts and prayers are with Dorothy and Mr. Bowman's children.
