My sincere condolences to the family of Galen. I have known Galen for 40+ years. He was a great man. I saw him last at the Nike Reunion last October and he looked great. He will be missed.

I knew your Dad and worked with him in the Guard. He was a wonderful man. My deepest sympathies

Pap, words cannot describe what you mean to me. You were the best father anyone could ever ask for and I am so grateful for the impact you had on my life. You never gave up on me no matter what. You will be missed dearly, from the bottom of my heart, and not a day will go by that I don't think about you. I love you with all my heart. Have fun up in heaven with Mammy!

I will be very brief. I am very fortunate to have two wonderful parents. However, I never knew either of my grandfathers and my grandmother died when I was a teenager. Through my relationship with his granddaughter (and adopted daughter) Dana, I came to understand what it is like to have a grandfather. Mr. Steele treated me with so much kindness and love that I could only return the feelings. I loved this man and will never forget him.
