Galen S. Young

Dr. Young was my inspiration as a child to go onto Osteopathic Medical School. He gently cared for my mother and his compassion was second to none. This great man made a tremendous difference in many lives.

To All of Dr. Young's Family,
I met your dad in 1974 as a freshman at PCOM. He was already a senior member of the PCOM faculty and the faculty's anchor clinician. Any questions about any complex clinical problem...ended up in Dr.Young's lap. He was a kind and gentle guide for the students. He was a caring and competent clinician. And he to this day IS a role model for students, faculty, administration, support staff and PATIENTS!
Your dad was the north star that many...

Please accept our deepest sympathies on the loss of your Dear Dad. We knew Dr. Young for many years and always enjoyed seeing him on his return from many trips.

I wanted to express my sympathies to the family of Dr. Galen S.Young. I had met him several times over the years I have been going to see his son Galen, and I found him to be a most charming and endearing man. He will be missed by many people I am sure including his faithful dog. My thoughts and prayers go out to you Galen and Betty Jean and to Sandy and Jeff.
