I first met SGM, he was my partner in a computer class in 1987. I was a PFC from COSCOM.. Turns out he was my best friend's NCOIC in 5th group. Garfield was our neighbor for about 23 years and my family and I enjoyed every minute of it! He was one of the kindest people I have ever known, would listen to my tales, and always give me a smile and a little laugh. He always went above and beyond as a neighbor! People would come to our home, and loved to peep over the fence into his beautiful yard that he took so much care of. We moved in the neighborhood when my youngest child was four.
