KINTON, Garland Eugene, age 78, of Chesterfield, died Monday, October 31, 2011. He is survived by two daughters, Shirley Hughes and her husband, Doug and Ruby L. Kinton; a son, Donald E. Kinton and his wife, Debby; five grandchildren, Brook G. Salazar, Angela H. Taylor, Jennifer G. Kinton, Douglas W. Kinton and Rachael K. Tobey; four great-grandchildren, Mariah B. Kinton, Justin B. Petty, Savannah Mae Salazar and Genevieve N. Salazar; a brother, Clyde W. Kinton. Mr. Kinton was retired from Brown and Williamson Tobacco Co. and was a U.S. Army Veteran of Korea. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 3, at the Chesterfield Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 14301 Ashbrook Parkway. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, November 4, at Second Branch Baptist Church. Interment in church cemetery.
