Garland C. Nelson, 76, of Drexel, Missouri, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and a Farmer, passed away at Veterans Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri on Monday, July 31, 2000. Visitation took place on Wednesday, August 2, 2000, 10:30-11:30 a.m., at Runyan Chapel, 136 East Main Street, Drexel. Private burial will be at a later date.
