Rest in peace Coach

I just found out today about Coach's passing. He was a wonderful- no EXEMPLARY man and I feel honored to have known him and worked for him as his student assistant/statistician while I went to South. He always had a kind word or a good joke to share. He looked out for me and MANY of his students and athletes. His love for his family was always apparent. My condolences to the Nichols family. You are all in my prayers.

Darrell Royal once said the mark of a person's character is how much they help the people who can't help them. No one exemplified this more than Garland.

Simply put, he was the greatest person I have ever known.

Jim Thrasher and Family

My prayers are with you Garland and your family , may the Lord open his heart to you quickly . Rest now my brother

Sheryl and Coby,
So sorry for your loss. Lots of fond memories from TABC and other times. Wonderful man and friend who did so much for others. Prayers for you as you walk through this difficult time.
