Garnett Holmes Hubble

My uncle by marriage is originally from Nebo, as a teenager I would go out with them every week to eat, many times this unfortunately included a trip to the funeral home. Many times Mr Hubble would be there, and he would chat with my uncle and update him with all the happenings in Nebo, as the years went by I would see him at different places including the Zion homecoming. My heart goes out to Garnett's family, and to the whole community of Ceres in the loss of this sincere gentleman. It was my honor to serve as Garnett's pastor for several years. Garnett genuinely loved his family, his community and Zion UMC. We will all feel his loss deeply. May God give us grace to cope with the change.

I remeber Mr. Hubble when I was a member of the Wytheville Ladies Ruritan Club in the 1990's. He was a very kind and generous man. My prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Mr. Hubble was a good man, and I will certainly miss him. I always enjoyed his smiling face and hearty laugh. May God look down upon your family and keep you close.
