Patti, I had a great junior year at U of Oregon as Alan´s room mate. Some amazing memories attending Duck games together. Enjoyed traveling to Modesto, and San Francisco in his Mustang.. Enjoyed meeting you in Eugene on my honeymoon, then again during the NCAA finals with UMass in the final 4 basketball in the 90´s. I´m watching Oregon bball now hoping the best Arizona and go on to the sweet 16.. Sad to hear he passed. One son went the dental route and I work for him part...

So many memories of growing up next door to each other on Brenner Way in Modesto. Knew him has Alan growing up, it wasn't to many more years later that I found out that Garret was his first name. Rest in peace my friend. My condolences to his family and prayers for God peace for you all.

Our heartfelt condolences to Garrett's family. One of my fondest memories is going to an Eagles concert in Sacramento with Garrett and Laura ages ago. It was such fun except Garrett and I ended up a bit sunburned. I enjoyed getting to know him other than as my best friend's brother. Secret exposed here...I ended up having a bit of a crush on him. Our paths rarely crossed through the decades, but I have always remembered him and how much I enjoyed his wit and quick sense of humor. Wish I had...
