Dr. Hagan gave me a job when I moved to Sylacauga in 1993. He was very stern, but I learned a lot from him. His love for animals was unlike anyone I've seen. My condolences to his family and loved ones. He was one of a kind.

Doc....You have been one of my closest friends for many years. We have been camping, backpacking & canoeing innumerable times. I always have admired your love for this country & your love of the outdoors. I definitely now feel a void in my life since you are gone. I am honored to have known you & been able to call you a good friend. Rest in peace troop!
